Post Procedure Care - Smoothbeam Laser

* Do not apply any topical medications for 3 days after your laser treatment. This includes any medications for acne and any wrinkle medications including Retin-A, vitamin C, alpha-hydroxy acids, and glycolic acids. These medicines may aggravate your already irritated face.

* You should use only gentle, soap-free cleansers for 3 days and use a good moisturizer at least twice daily.

* Do not sunburn and avoid any excess sun exposure for the next month, especially if you are planning another treatment.

* A sunscreen SPF 30+ should be applied over the treated area for 1 week following treatment.

* You may apply makeup over the treated area as necessary.

* Some flaring of acne is to be expected.

* Call the office if any blistering, dark circles, or other concerning symptoms occur.
