Post Procedure Care - Chemical Peel

* Redness and burning are expected after the peel (to ease discomfort place a bag of frozen peas on the area).

* Do not use rejuvenating products, acne products or bleaching products. Wait until the face is healed.

* Avoid strenuous exercise for 6 hours after peel.

* The day after the peel apply Extreme Barrier Cream 4 times a day or more often if desired. Refrigerate if desired.

* Avoid sun exposure for 1 month after peel. Sunscreen MUST be worn if sun exposure will occur during the first month.

* If blistering or crusting occurs:
a. Mix a solution of one tablespoon of white vinegar in 16 ounces of water (cool).
b. Dip a face cloth into the solution and wring it out.
c. Pat the face dry and apply Vaseline to the affected areas.
d. Call the office to inform us.
